Crown Vic issues of auto parts from police?
2000 Ford Crown Victoria Police Interceptor. I am slowly making improvements this car since I bought it six months ago. Now that I am completely finished with the mechanical end, I am going to cosmetic and body. I really find everything I need in one place. Is there a Place items that I can to Crown Vic Interceptors, as a manufacturer or something, or even a salvage yard that has a ton of police vehicles, ex-? I want to replace the interior door panels on all four doors. (Rare on Ebay, and I really want all four doors.) I really want the "dummy" door panels used in police cars, but they are difficult to find. Pllug antenna holes and holes lightbar. (Couldnt find any rubber stoppers to autostore.) Get a new panel header and a grill. I need connections, can someone tell me in the right direction?
Assuming you are in the United States, Canada or Mexico, most "addicts" (ie, junk yard dealers) are able to order parts from other junkies, nationally, So "one-stop shopping" is certainly possible, if you do not get everything you need at once (FWIW, I do not know the mechanics backyard too many people who buy everything at once, just to save money, if something goes wrong or you find that you really do not want / need Part or someone got it for free, or you're short of cash, losing a job, etc., etc., etc..) Just look in your local yellow pages under "Self - Junk Yards" or similar (as the publisher of yellow pages (try "parts", "Rescue "," Fix ", etc.)) that list something like" tracking service of national elements. "If you can get the vehicle to them, they'll probably be able to understand what you need more easily than if you simply tell them what you want (with respect, if you really had not thought of all the above before writing this question, then you should definitely bring the car to them!). PS On a personal note, with gas prices continuing to soar, I wonder that if you can afford to do on a car as heavy (at least half a ton heavier than the standard CV) would you kindly send some cash My Way?
