Jeff Beck .. What's you opinion of his work?
Personally, I love his album mid 70s Fusion Blow By Blow and Wired Absolutely great guitar playing inspired both. I thoroughly recommend both albums to any guitarist or fan of rock guitar. I like both band's early Jeff Beck Truth and Beck Ola Featuring Rod Stewart (vocals) Ron Wood (bass) and Ansley Dunbar (drums) But what do you think of the career of Jeff Beck? Like you, I really appreciated his jazz fusion era material as well, but my favorite albums are "Rough and Ready ',' The Jeff Beck Group "(both on Cozy Powell, Bob Tench, Clive Chaman, and Max Middleton)," Beck Bogert Appice ", and" Beck Bogert Appice Live '(in Originally a Japan only released double album). After hearing the album 'BBA Live' again recently, I must say that this is my favorite. They are a kick * ss version of 'Jeffs Boogie' (the old classic Yarbirds) and Jeff spice it up by playing a killer rendition of "Flatt and Scruggs 'banjo Pickin' Beverly Hillbillies theme song on his Les Paul. Must be heard! Tim Bogert and Carmine Appice are jaw drop here too. Much better than their self titled album.
