Computer Virus. . . ?.

Hello, My Windows XP professional use works correctly. After 2 months, it has a virus or something. The programs are unable to run: Paint, pinball, etc.. None has any more icons at bottom left (I only see the time) When I try to open painting I get this message "Windows can not open Help and Support because a system service is not working" will not let me activate the services. It does not connect to the Internet. Microsoft tool found nothing. disabled many programs. I think I am no longer admin. When I got it (used) you were able to switch between the skin XP, Windows 2000 and the skin is on the 2000 one (Dull & Gray.) If Please, can someone help me understand this issue out? " @ Caitlin, System Restore has been disabled, have no more XP Disc. Replys Awesome, I'll Try! :) )): D
